Hello there! I'm an emerging mixed-media author-illustrator from Sussex, UK currently living in Primrose Hill, London, working on developing my own series of children's picture books.
I draw my pictures and apply cut-out collage materials as well as digital techniques to bring them to life. Key to my process is a playfulness with textures and colour, whilst maintaining my personality through the shape and line-work I create by hand.
I'm passionate about nature, animal obsessed, and also a massive foodie! My joy in life tends to revolve around these things, which also means I love drawing and writing about anything food/ nature / critter related.
Outside of illustration, I like nothing better than long (preferably rainy) walks in ancient woodlands with my blue whippet, Hector, attending my local conservation group and gardening club, reading stories to my two young nephews, befriending insects, identifying plants (which I refuse to call weeds) foraging for herbs to make decoctions, and pottering about in the kitchen.
